How to get around

On the Move Locally - Without a Car

Bus or train? Or would you rather take the environmentally friendly way and go by bike?

For guests with the Farchant Guest Card, bus travel on designated routes is complimentary. This special service applies to bus lines around Farchant.

You can use selected bus routes free of charge by presenting your guest card. This means that when you stay in Farchant you are mobile without a car and save yourself the search for a parking space. You also have the option of hiking one way and then take the public transport back to the starting point.

Buses of the Regionalverkehr Oberbayern

With the red RVO buses you can travel free of charge on all lines (except line 9840 to Eibsee) between Landsberg am Lech and Bayrischzell as well as between Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Miesbach. Further information on the RVO buses and the route network can be found here: www.rvo-bus.de


Deutsche Bahn

Werdenfels Ticket:

With the Werdenfels ticket for only 22 EUR you can discover the Werdenfelser Land for a day in all local trains of the Deutsche Bahn (DB) as well as in the buses of Oberbayernbus (RVO Bus) and other regional transport companies. Each additional passenger costs 6 € (max. 4 additional adults).

Bayern-Ticket:

1 day through the region. For 25 EUR + 7 EUR per passenger (up to 5 passengers per ticket), you can travel for a day in Bavaria on local trains, in transport associations and on numerous buses. Also available in 1st class or as a night offer!
