The nearby winter sports resort of Garmisch-Partenkirchen provides an almost endless range of possibilities: explore one of the local mountains such as Eckbauer or Wank by mountain railway, walk through the historic Ludwigstraße or be enchanted by the impressive Partnach Gorge. In less than half an hour you can reach Oberammergau, Mittenwald, Murnau or Ettal. Whether it's the violin museum, Linderhof Castle or the impressive Eibsee - everyone gets their money's worth here. And excursions to the nearby big cities such as Munich or Innsbruck are also highly recommended!
